Entering Thermodome unfolds as the first chapter of the speculative research project Turing Gaia, a generative audio‑visual installation presenting Markov-NPC, an autonomous AI character navigating a virtual eco‑system under relentless climate stress. As temperatures fluctuate erratically, Markov tries to reduce environmental entropy and collect artifacts, reacting to visual shifts and ambient audio driven by Øystein Fjeldbo’s generative soundscape. At once scientific metaphor and artistic intervention, the project maps survival strategies, climate-driven adaptation, and planetary interdependence in a thermodynamic future. It’s a compelling, immersive reflection on the resilience of life and the evolving interaction between technology and ecology.
