Tierra Flotante // Floating Ground

Oscillator waves appear, disappear and contaminate each other. Electronic circuits, treated with a chemical compound and integrate copper minerals from mines in Chile. The term ” floating ground ” refers to circuits when these connections are absent. They are present here thanks to the impact of drops of sea water that close switches and activate sounds, going from interference to waves. Suspended funnels drip chemistry onto the open circuits, transforming the sounds as oxidation takes place, generating organic crystals, and thus creating an ephemeral work that continually metamorphoses over time.
