Suspensio is an immersive olfactory and sculptural installation by Josely Carvalho, part of her ongoing Diary of Smells series. Conceived during the COVID-19 pandemic, the work reflects on the collective experience of suspension amid political, environmental, health, and social crises in both the United States and Brazil.
