Sound Whispers is a two-part immersive sound installation comprising Ancient Whispers and Sea Whispers, which reconnects listeners to primal and environmental sonic experiences. Ancient Whispers recreates ancestral sounds using stone, wood, and bullroarer instruments, inviting participants to tune into the auditory traces of early human connection with nature. Sea Whispers transplants the meditative sounds of the ocean into urban spaces through a delicate mobile of seashells, bamboo, and poly sheets, echoing the sea’s calming rhythm. Together, these works highlight the therapeutic and ecological value of natural soundscapes, encouraging reflection on human evolution, nature’s rhythms, and our urban disconnection from them.
